Remaking decks better!

After my latest solo game with 4 commander decks, I noticed that

  • 1. My decks are not in balance
  • 2. I need a way to deal with single targets that are threats.

So to have a idea I watched this video: https://youtu.be/3K9PEeLG_6M andcgot the following quideline

  • 10-12 Manaramp
  • 10 Card Draw
  • 10-12 Single Target removal
  • 3-4 Board Wipes
  • 35-38 lands

They also had some good defining there, that really hit home, as I recently changed most Mana Artifacts in Sefris Venture to be creature’s that search lands to your hand, that does not classify as ramp.

So to start out the progress I took each of these 4 decks and laid them out with these categories

Still having some cards ln wrong piles.

So lets have some Stats of our own:

Ramp: S4 N13 G16 A13

Card Draw: S5, N12, G9, A8

Targeted Removal: S6, N7, G1, A6

Board Wipes: S1, N1, G0, A11

Lands: S36, N37, G32, A36

While making Changes I ended up making couple more decks. But to have better overview of all decks atm, I’m checking them side by side each category reaches the wants amounts.

Could have couple of spots open to remove cards from Atraxa as many planeswalkers also ramp.
Single target removal
Mass removal
